Why We Made Every AI Image a Perfect Square (and Why Your Feed Will Thank Us)

The awkward-crop problem

If you've ever posted a beautiful landscape photo to Instagram only to watch the platform hack off both ends, you know the pain. Every social feed — Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook — leans on the square. Non-square images get auto-cropped by the platform, and the platform doesn't care that it just cut your storefront sign in half.

So we made a decision: **every image Lisa AI produces is a perfect 1:1 square, every time.** Old images in your library included — the whole collection was converted in place.

Crop first, edit second

The order of operations matters more than most people think. The lazy way is to let the AI edit the photo and then squash whatever comes out into a square. That stretches pixels and softens detail.
